My Grandpa and Mom are Awesome
Yet again, he drags me downstairs and plops me in front of an opened Amazon site.
“Buy me this and this” he says. Then, once again, my mom comes down and catches us staring at my Amazon. She goes, “Eileen, are you buying lenses again?”“Um.. Yes mom.” “Okay..” When she leaves, my grandpa turns towards me and snickers.
It’s just funny to see this type of secret going between us. I’m pretty sure my mom knows, but she also knows that if he wants to keep it a secret, then let him keep it a secret. I think they have a pretty good father-daughter relationship. I also think this “secret” is blossoming our grandfather-granddaughter relationship. I love my family.
On a lighter note, I’m probably getting the lens he doesn’t need anymore once he gets his new lens :) I’m always up for getting second-hand things. Another reason why my family is so awesome. The second-hand leather coat I got isn’t too shabby either…
